Using Proliner Golf Teaching Aid
Proliner has two teaching styles:-
Style 1 is a “Fixed Ball Position”
Style 2 is a “Variable Ball Position”
Style1
- Place pointer 'B' on top of pointer 'A', with Style 1 label facing upwards
- Assemble centre swivel by sliding it over pointers 'A' & 'B' and position swivel over the 'Fixed Ball' marking
- Rotate pointer 'A' & 'B' apart until at right angles (90º) to each other (see Fig.1 below)
- Lay Proliner in front of you and position pointer 'A' at a suitable distance from the ball, dependant on the selected club
- Address the ball, placing the left foot adjacent to the 'TOE' marking and the right foot by the 'Chosen Club' range (see Fig.2 below)
Style 2
- Follow the same set-up procedure outlined in ‘Style 1’ but this time with 'Style 2' label facing upwards
- With Style 2 the centre swivel is positioned over the ‘Chosen Club’ range marking
- Rotate pointer 'A' & 'B' apart until at right angles (90º) to each other
- Lay Proliner in front of you and position pointer 'A' at a suitable distance from the ball, dependant on the selected club
- Address the ball, placing the left foot adjacent to the 'TOE' marking and the right foot by the 'Chosen Club' range
Putting Practice
- Disassemble the Proliner and line up the two pointers to produce a "railway line" toward the hole
- Now you can practice your putting by using the pointers as stroking and feet line up guides
- Interlocking one pointer behind the other also makes a longer single guideline
